For many, the beginning of March issues in spring, but it is not so here in Quebec. Crocuses and daffodils are still a long way off! The outdoors is as snowy as ever, and we are enjoying it! Here are just a few pictures of our snow activities…
We lack pictures of some of our other skiing excursions, including one with some friends, as well as of an afternoon’s skating on Howard pond in Sherbrooke. Though spring will be welcomed when it arrives, we are making the most of the rest of winter! I Thessalonians 5:18 says, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” We are thankful for what the Lord has given us right now and will rejoice in it!
Thanks Elizabeth, for the great idea of skiing/snowshoeing during the seminar break. The exercise sure helped to make me feel more normal! Samantha agreed that it was a great way to spend lunch break. I guess one can get rather out of sorts sitting inside for so long!
P.S. Just wondering why the default country (the one that always comes up when I want to post a comment) is the U.S.A. It just seemed so untypical of you guys!!!
I agree that getting outdoors during lunchbreak did wonders for concentration levels!
To answer your question about the U.S.A. flag… The reason that is the default for you is that you have an American browser. Ours (Google Chrome – a French Canadian browser) automatically comes up with a Canadian flag. š (If we use Firefox, it comes up with the U.S.A. flag.)
