I read on wiki that they are about 1/4″ long, but I don’t think this one could have reached that length if it stretched its pincers all the way out. I would have said it was more like 1/8″. I’ll wait a bit to let others guess before revealing it’s name. 🙂

Yes, you’re right. It’s a pseudoscorpion. You probably knew that a long time ago, but I only just learned it. Though wikipedia states that they are rarely seen, we have seen them quite a bit around our place. And after years of wondering what they were, I finally researched them. As mentioned above, they can grow up to 1/4″, but ours are always smaller than that. They are actually beneficial arachnids (noticed the 8 legs), eating clothes moth larvae, carpet beetle larvae, booklice (I’m wondering if I should adopt a pseudoscorpion to get rid of the booklice I find in my room…), ants, mites, and small flies. So unless you made the burger of those things (and made it really small), I don’t think it could manage one! 🙂
I figured it out, though I got the name slightly wrong… and I hadn’t a clue what to feed it for supper. 🙂
How big is this one?

Pseudoscorpion… Not sure if I write it correctly. At this size, I’m sure it dont eat a whole burger.
